A great place for dining

The Peacock offers bar meals and a restaurant in the centre of bakewell, in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

Eating out at the Peacock is a treat - we have a varied menu using local, fresh produce.

Food is served everyday: 11:45 am to 2:45 pm, and 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Chef Mike Driscoll has gained a great reputation for his culinary creations at top restarents in London, which include Ladbrooke Belgraviain Regents Park & the White House Hotel in Chelsea. He is looking forward to maintaining a warm country pub atmosphere while creating quality, fresh food.

His award winning menus are fantastic, and many compliments have been received from all who have dined at the Peacock. He is well known for catering to everyone's palate - from a homemade, tasty pie to a mouthwatering 'a la carte' dish.

Mike's experience total over 30 years, with numerous awards & certifications in City & Guilds and Best Premises & Cleanliness continually for over 25 years.

He is also readily available to discuss any specialities you might fancy on the night.

You can eat in the bar or any of the other three other areas including the snug which local businesses often use for a local meeting area. The snug can host and accommodate for larger parties - please enquire for further details.
